An ever expanding workforce and limited space in our building has led us to explore innovative ways of delivering high quality healthcare. This has prompted us to consider a new model of care, to work at scale and deliver a more efficient service to our patients.
We have now separated our urgent demand from routine appointments by setting up an Urgent Care Service. This is currently running at our Main Surgery (Milestone) with the service coming soon at our Branch Surgery (Southwood).
Patients who need to be seen on the day will be given an appointment with a member of our Urgent Care Team.

Our reception team have been trained to ask you for a reason for your appointment. A reason must be given for all on the day appointment requests. This is to ensure that you are dealt with by the most appropriate Health Care Professional. If you cannot provide a reason you will be booked into a routine appointment, but this may not be on the same working day. For your peace of mind, our reception team all undertake annual confidentiality training.
